REMINDER: Drop Off & Pick Up Policy

Central Teach (Mondays):

Drop off location point is the large tree in the above ground planter near the TSSC designated entrance door (not the identified pool door).

Exit door is pool entrance/exit door at the side of the building. All coaches & athletes should use these entrances/exits and at least 1 coach must be present until all of their athletes have been picked up.

UofT (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday):

Drop off location point is the Starbucks entrance off of Harbord. All athletes and coaches will make their way around the path way down to the 50M pool deck and Spadina change rooms for dryland training.

Dryland training should take place at the north end of the pool only.Bags should be kept in the bleachers on the East side off the ground.

Thursday evenings athletes will make their way up to the Benson pool for training.

Pick up for all evenings is at the Starbucks exit on Harbord. All athletes & coaches will use the Spadina change room and exit using the same way to meet for their pick up at the Starbucks exit on Harbord. All coaches & athletes should use these entrances/exits and at least 1 coach must be present until all of their athletes have been picked up.

UofT (Sunday):

Drop off location point is the Starbucks entrance off of Harbord. All athletes and coaches will make their way to the designated room for dryland training first through the turnstiles. Please refer to the club calendar to confirm room #’s as they can change from time to time.

For all athletes & coaches leaving regularly at 7pm they are to walk back to the Spadina change room at the 50 M pool and exit using the SPADINA EXIT. Athletes will wait inside until a parent arrives to pick them up. The other entrances & exits will be locked at 6pm and this is the only door. At least 1 coach to ensure athletes are picked up from this exit.

For all athletes and coaches leaving regularly at 9pm they are to use the Spadina change room at the 50 M pool and exit using the SPADINA EXIT. Athletes will wait inside until a parent arrives to pick them up. The other entrances & exits will be locked at 6pm and this is the only door at least 1 coach must be present until all of their athletes have been picked up.

Welcome Back | Classes Start Tonight!

Happy New Year & welcome back!

We missed you! Tonight, Thursday January 5th 2012 Recreational classes at Leaside start up again from 6:30pm-8:00pm. This Sunday January 8th 2012 classes at Holland Bloorview and our Competitive program start up as well at their respective locations and times.

Synchro Swim Ontario | Burning Bright

Synchro Swim Ontario is pleased to announce that the 8th annual Burning Bright for Breast Cancer campaign in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Ontario Chapter raised $40,000!

The Burning Bright 8-year grand total is a staggering $292,800.71. The Top Fundraising Club and winner of the Myra Gerow Award was Sudbury Synchro with the highest club total ever of $14,551.85. Burlington Synchro was second with a total of $6,209.81 and Toronto Synchro was third with a total of $3,442.

The Top Fundraising Athlete was Elizabeth Sweeny of Sudbury Synchro for the 7th consecutive year with a total of $2,790.00. Clubmates Megan Sarmatiuk was second with $1,020.00 and Emmah Cacciotti was third with $1,003.50.

WOW Night Tonight!

TONIGHT! December 21st 2011 from 6-9pm at UofT TSSC is hosting it’s second annual WOW night for our competitive program. For our final night of practice before the holidays we will be having all of our competitive teams – Gold, Blue, Purple, Green, White & Red to celebrate and showcase our competitive routines to all coaches to Work On Winning – WOW!

This night is really an opportunity for our coaches to provide constructive feedback on each others routines to make sure we are on the best path possible into the new year. Parents are welcome to watch in the stands.

Practice will be in the 50 M varsity deck & pool and athletes will be asked to wear their competitive TSSC blue bathing suit and cap!

Watershow Info

This Saturday December 17th from 8:30am-11am TSSC will be hosting their Annual Winter Watershow!

All competitive swimmers are asked to arrive using the Spadina entrance for 8:15am – gelled, in your competitive bathing suit and ready for warm up at 8:30am in the Benson pool. All recreational swimmer please be on time for 8:25am at the Spadina entrance with your bathing suit on where your coach will meet you and take you to warm up. Parents will be instructed to walk around to the Huron street entrance for admission to the event.

Swimmers will be brought up to the lounge with their coaches to the reception immediately following the watershow to meet parents & friends. All swimmers are asked to wear either their full TSSC track suit or TSSC t-shirt and black bottoms otherwise.
